SUNDAY AT 10AM - BREAKING OF BREAD

"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer."
Acts 2:42
These words in Acts describe the core activities of the first Christian churches. At WGCC we 'break bread' at our Worship and Communion service on Sunday mornings, remembering the Lord by taking bread and wine as he commanded. It is also a time for worship, to pray, to sing and give praise to our God.
We meet every Sunday morning for open worship and communion for believers - to remember Jesus as he asked us to and so anyone who loves and serves the Lord Jesus is welcome to share with us.

Following on from our Breaking of Bread service is our Sunday service (see below) - a time of worship, prayer and listening to a message from God's Word.
Come and join us at the Woodside Green Christian Centre for fellowship each Sunday morning.

SUNDAY
SUNDAY SERVICE
Following on from our Breaking of Bread service is our Sunday service - a time of worship, prayer and listening to a message from God's Word.
A time of worship, prayer and the listening to God's word is what we do each Sunday at 11.30am.
Make Sundays at 11.30 a regular event as we meet for fellowship together where we invite mum's, dad's, grandparent's, indeed everyone to come and listen to Bible talks that deals with the real issues of life as we know it today and how God is there to help and guide along the way.
The younger children in the Sparkles group and the Young Explorers (formally known as the Sunday School) go to their own classes at the same time as this meeting for their various activities which include games, quizzes and Bible Stories with discussions.
The Sunday Service talks are recorded each Sunday and you can listen to them by going to the Sermons link on the Menu of our website. You can also download these talks which are also available from that link or just click here to go straight to them.
You are warmly invited to come and join us at the Woodside Green Christian Centre for our new series of Bible talks entitled 'The Real Jesus - by the people who knew him' which looks at his interactions with people while he was here with them. It is a great opportunity to invite new people along. We would really love to see you there.
If you have any questions or queries regarding the notes above or any of our services, please contact us here.
Young Explorers
Didn't know learning from the Bible can be fun?
Come and join our Young Explorers at Woodside Green Christian Centre and find out
From the youngest - the - to the senior Bible class - the (Search and Study) - all young people are welcome.
It's amazing some of the questions that young people ask! But our experienced leaders are always willing to help the children in their group understand and deal with the important things the Bible has to teach us. We can cater for 6 different age groups from 4 up to 18 in our new building. Each group has its own room and provides a great place for young people to enjoy the Bible.
We meet at the same time as the Sunday service. Once a month (usually the last Sunday in the month) we join the adults for a Family Service.
